Your discovery tour starts with a pick up at your hotel and visit to a hidden art museum for a peculiar art installation which will, in colours, slightly resemble the inside of a lava cave. This art installation is the perfect launch party spot for the famous Björk and other Icelandic musicians alike. Discover this hidden maze gem and enjoy music by an Icelandic composer, created specifically to fit the atmosphere.

• Celebrating the spirits of Iceland

Your second visit of the day will be to the Icelands’ first and only whisky distillery, which will last an hour and half, and a perfect destination for whiskey fans and for anyone with an interest in Icelandic Spirits. They produce more than whiskey and there is plenty for a warm up from the inside out and a cold or chilly day in Iceland, there are plenty of those. You get to try the only spirits from 100% Icelandic barley, like whisky, premium Gin, and Víti which is their old style traditional Icelandic Brennivín or black-death as it has been nicknamed for years.

• The Privately Guided Food Magic

The highlight of the day is the amazing 4 hour magical food and wine tour. This tour includes a stop at a fine dining restaurant in the city centre, where the owner / head chef of each of the carefully selected restaurants has created a unique tasting menu paired with local drinks. Then you go to a secret outdoor location in a 2 – 4 minute walking distance from the restaurant and try out some ancient foods, fit for the bravest.
You will also be trying out the Icelandic street food in style. You will try selected, local street food (where fusion is highly celebrated – keeping in mind that the ingredients are always local) and pair that with drinks in a very hip and cool place. Your fourth stop will be slightly different, and take you through the old city of Reykajvik to a magical location where you will enter a Perfumery & Art House where the artists will play with all your senses and take you on a scented journey. There may be some homemade “moonshine” with healing herbs and magical powers.
